FARGO - Contemporary Christian act MercyMe will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 at First Assembly in Fargo for this year's Homeless and Hungry kickoff event.
MercyMe is best known for its crossover hit "I Can Only Imagine." Other hits include "Spoken For" and "Word of God Speak."
Ticket pre-sales for the show begin Tuesday via Ticketmaster (visit ticketmaster.com) and will go on sale at local locations on Friday, Homeless and Hungry Director Erik Hatch said.
Homeless and Hungry includes a 30-hour famine and a campout in cardboard boxes to raise awareness, funds and donations for area shelters.
