Bulls, ballet and Hahn-Bin: This weekend in Grand Forks

Here's the rundown of the performances.

n The North Dakota Ballet Company will present the story ballet "Alice in Wonderland" at 7 tonight, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Empire Arts Center. It's a show that will feature more than 100 dancers. Tickets are $12 for students and $15 for adults, on sale through the Chester Fritz Auditorium box office, by calling (701) 777-4090 and through ticketmaster.com. Tickets also will be sold at the door and the box office will open an hour before each production.

n The Professional Championship Bullriders tour will come to the Alerus Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday followed by a concert by the country music duo Montgomery Gentry. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets (for the bullriding and concert) will be $34 for adults and $14 for age 12 and younger. VIP tickets will be $54. They're available at the Alerus Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets including charge by phone, (800) 745-3000 and Ticketmaster.com.

n Musically, Hahn-Bin is a protégé of Itzhak Perlman. As a performer, he's often compared with Lady Gaga. The acclaimed violinist will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday at North Dakota Museum of Art, Grand Forks. Tickets will be $13 for museum members, $15 for non-members, $5 for students and military, and free for children 12 and younger. They're available at North Dakota Museum of Art or by calling (701) 777-4195. Monday night at 7:30, Hahn-Bin will perform at the Classroom Building Auditorium, Mayville State University, Mayville, N.D. Tickets will be $13, $5 and free for MSU students with college ID.
