Carmike Cinema movie theater in Grand Forks is showing live and encore performances of operas and ballets on the big screen through Carmike's "Opera in Cinema" and "Ballet in Cinema" program.
Carmike is working with Emerging Pictures to present these performances by some of the world's best ballet companies and from of some of the most famous opera houses. The online schedule ( www.carmike.com ) shows presentations of ballets such as "Giselle" by The Royal Ballet, London, and The Bolshoi Ballet, Moscow, and operas such as "The Magic Flute" from Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy.
