The Greater Grand Forks Fair & Exhibition will open Wednesday at the fairgrounds and run through June 27 with some new features, including the Garcia Brothers Thrill Show.
The thrill show will be free and will present three acts on weekdays and four on weekends, including The Human Cannon Ball, The Globe of Death and the Space Wheel.
"There's so many new things to see and do on the fairgrounds this year," Fair Manager Trina Mills said in a news release, "the Circus Thrill Show, Games to Go inflatables, monster truck rides, live music and the new Kidz Zone will fill the grounds with great entertainment."
Inside, the exhibit hall will feature free face-painting for kids, puppet shows, championship Tae Kwan Do demonstrations and various contests. Fairgoers will be able to play bingo for cash and prizes each evening.
The grandstand will feature racing June 25, the TNT Monsters Steel Thunder Tour of monster trucks and motocross June 26 and a Demo Derby and Herbie Derby on June 27.
