BEMIDJI -- The television show “Finding Bigfoot” is returning to northern Minnesota this summer, officials said.
The Animal Planet show will hold town hall meeting July 7 in Remer to gather stories from residents about area sightings of the never-been-found, legendary ape-like animal known as Sasquatch. The filming will be done in the Bemidji and Grand Rapids areas, a press release said.
“Finding Bigfoot” also filmed an episode in Minnesota in 2012 in the Duluth area.
The press release from the show says, “Have you seen what you believe is a Sasquatch? Have you experienced mysterious sounds, unusual tracks or other phenomena that point to Bigfoot? We want to hear from you.”
People can email findingbigfoot.minnesota@gmail.com . The release states that people could be invited to share their story with the “Finding Bigfoot” team and may be selected to have their experience investigated and recreated on the show. The town hall meeting is free, but people must reserve their spot at the email listed above.
