The Thursday Music Club will present the traditional music of Christmas in its concert this weekend. The annual concert will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in Calvary Lutheran Church at 1405 S. Ninth Street.

The concert will feature local musicians including Hannah and Katie Diers in song and piano. Kevin Muiderman will play classical guitar music. There will be piano music by Josh Gratton of Poppler’s. The men’s chorus from Bible Baptist Church will round out the music.

This is the 97th year of the Thursday Musicale, which many who hear it year after year regard as the beginning of the Christmas season.

The Thursday Musicale is regarded as one of the most important events of the season in Grand Forks. Proceeds are used for scholarships at the International Music Camp.
