The Public Arts Commission (PAC) announced the winners of the first Winter Yard Art Challenge.
PAC invited community members to nominate yard art they believed to be the most creative and innovative displays of expressions in public places.
Nominations included yard art that featured lights and electronics, displays that addressed the winter theme and expressions, according to a PAC news release.
Winners of the Winter Yard Art Challenge are:

Honorary recognition was given to AgCountry Farm Credit Services for the Best Commercial Display and Woodland Circle for Best Neighborhood Display.
Winners will be recognized at an awards reception at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the North Dakota Museum of Art . Awards include original handmade ornaments by Badman Design or a selection of tickets to local arts events.
