Country superstar Luke Bryan, the reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year, will open his "Kick the Dust Up Tour" tonight at the Alerus Center.

Since his debut album in 2007, Bryan has been one of the most successful country acts, scoring 11 No. 1 hits and selling nearly 7 million albums.

He gained stardom following the release of his second album, "Doin' My Thing," which peaked at No. 2 on the country charts. The album spawned two No. 1 singles, "Rain Is a Good Thing" and "Someone Else Calling You Baby."

Bryan followed that with the platinum-selling album, "Tailgates & Tanlines," which had four songs peak in the top five of the country charts, including "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)" and "I Don't Want This Night to End."

His biggest album to date, "Crash My Party," was released in 2012, which became the third best-selling album of 2013. It featured five No. 1 hits: "Crash My Party," "Drink a Beer," "Play It Again," "Roller Coaster" and "I See You."

Tonight's show is the opening night of Bryan's latest tour, which will include 48 shows spanning the country. More than 1.7 million people saw Bryan on his tour in 2014, which was his most successful yet, according to his website. That tour included a nearly sold-out March concert at the Fargodome in Fargo.

Randy Houser and Dustin Lynch will be openers for tonight's show.

Tickets to the show range in price from $37.25 to $67.25.
