Jeanne Cooney, author of “Hot Dish Heaven: A Murder Mystery with Recipes,” will speak at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Home, Sport and Craft Show at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls.
Cooney is a native of Minnesota’s northern Red River Valley and developed the idea for the book when writing a quirky family cookbook. She currently lives in the Twin Cities and is working on the second book in the series titled “Hot Dish Heaven: A Second Helping of Murder and Recipes.”
There will also be an opportunity to have a copy of the book signed at the event.
