BEMIDJI -- Legendary Canadian singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot will play Bemidji's Sanford Center on Sept. 15, the events center announced Tuesday.
The Bemidji show will be part of Lightfoot's "50 Years on the Carefree Highway" tour. Lightfoot has recorded 20 albums and has five Grammy nominations. Best known for the hits "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," "If You Could Read My Mind" and "Sundown," Lightfoot was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.
A presale for tickets starts at 10 a.m. Friday, with general public tickets on sale at 10 a.m. July 19. Ticket prices are $35, $45 and $65.
