First full trailer for ‘Fargo’ season 2 released

The first full, official trailer for the second season of FX's "Fargo" was released Tuesday, giving the most complete look yet at the gritty crime series set in the late 1970s.

The first full, official trailer for the second season of FX’s “Fargo” was released Tuesday, giving the most complete look yet at the gritty crime series set in the late 1970s.

You can see the trailer above, but a word of warning: there is one violent scene shown briefly and a word used that some might find troubling.

Season two features actors Patrick Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, Ted Danson and Nick Offerman, among others.

It takes place in 1979 in Sioux Falls and Luverne, Minn., following the investigation into the local mob, a crime syndicate and a state trooper’s assignment to protect Republican presidential candidate Ronald Reagan (Campbell) during his campaign stop in Fargo.

The new season starts on FX in October.
