Bismarck resident Mary Ellen Erickson has released the latest book in her Peanut Butter Club Mystery series titled "Did Bigfoot Steal Christmas?"

In this story, the kids visit a ski lodge in northern Minnesota with their grandparents for Christmas, where they find plenty to keep them entertained. But, when the groups find out someone is vandalizing the lodge and trying to stop them from winning the Northern Lights Sled Dog Race, they have a mystery on their hands.

Erickson retired from teaching and counseling students after more than 30 years. She came to writing later in her career, and has since written a number of books in a variety of fields. She currently lives in Bismarck with her husband.
