Fargo author and artist Meg Spielman Peldo recently received two national book awards for her coffee table art book of brassieres created from a wide variety of objects. Peldo was presented with the gold medal in the outstanding gift/specialty book division at the 2013 Independent Publisher Book Awards May 29 in New York City.
She also received an honorable mention for the best compilations/anthologies in the New York Book Festival for the special breast cancer edition of her book. The special edition includes uplifting stories of breast cancer survival, complied by Kim Wagner of Fargo.
