GRAND FORKS – Country music, multi-platinum entertainer Thomas Rhett takes the stage with his “Bring the Bar to You Tour” concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Alerus Center.

The concert, with opening artists Parker McCollum and Conner Smith, is one of a 30-plus run produced by Live Nation and presented by Dos Primos.

Rhett, who launched the tour with sold-out back-to-back shows in June in Gilford, New Hampshire, presents a live show “known for its bombastic, good time energy,” according to Esquire Magazine.

At Thursday's show here, audience members can expect the five-time Grammy Awards nominee to deliver hit tunes along with favorites from his sixth studio album, “Where We Started.”

“I can’t tell you how good it feels to be back on the road,” Rhett said in a statement released after the tour’s opening show. “Our goal for this tour is to spread joy and have a great time. I can already tell this is going to be the most fun I’ve had on the road, and I can’t wait to see everyone out there!”

With 19 multi-platinum and Gold-certified No. 1 hits and 12 billion streams, Rhett has been dubbed “the most reliable maker of No. 1 singles in country music” by Variety Magazine.

The superstar has been named “a prince in the genre” by USA Today, and has been honored with eight Academy of Country Music Awards including Entertainer of the year, two Country Music Association (CMA) awards, five Grammy nominations and trophies from the Country Music Television (CMT) Music Awards and Billboard Awards.

His critically acclaimed album, “Where We Started,” is inspired by family, friends and his love of the outdoors.

Rhett, co-founder of Dos Primos Tequila, is collaborating with Chaco on an exclusive sandal line.

A concert opening act, Parker McCollum has been named “Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone, Billboard, SiriusXM, CMT, RIAA and others, as well as MusicRow’s 2021 Breakout Artist of the Year and an all-genre Apple Up Next Artist for 2021.

McCollum sold out more than 40 shows in 2021.

Conner Smith signed to BMI at age 9 with original material before collaborating with award-winning songwriters Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell while still in high school. His debut collection is available via The Valory Music Co.

Smith was recently named to prestigious lists such as Spotify’s “Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2022,” “Amazon Music’s 2022 Amazon Artist to Watch” and the all-genre “Artists To Watch 2022: The Pandora Ten List.”
