Cast members of the Medora Musical will once again bring their family-friendly holiday variety show to the Empire Arts Center with their fifth annual "A Magical Medora Christmas" at 3-4:30 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16.

Empire Arts Center Executive Director Debra Pflughoeft-Hassett said tickets are still available, although they are going fast.

"It's obviously holiday-based, there's a lot of music," Pflughoeft-Hassett said. "Other years they've had acts, comedy, magicians, things of that nature, so it's a very family-friendly show and really all about Christmas. ... I think you can expect the same great show that they've had in years past."

Joining the cast again this year is Job Christenson, a Grand Forks native, who in addition to hosting the Medora Musical has also starred on Broadway in "Cats," "Ragtime," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and "Billy Elliot," among others.

The Grand Forks event is part of an extensive holiday tour, with performances held daily in a different community throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Minnesota Nov. 29-Dec. 22.
