Five out of five stars.

When “A Beautiful Mess” blog founders Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman launched their second app, iPhone owners celebrated.

They partied, actually.

The Party Party app (99 cents in Apple’s App Store) released midsummer follows the DIY bloggers’ photo app that allows users to add text, doodles and custom filters to images.

Party Party enables users to create stop-motion videos using one, four, nine or 16 photos. The photos can be taken in the app or imported from the photo album.

Once the chosen number of photos is loaded or taken, users can make the stop-motion video as fast or slow as they want, as well as add a filter.

After saving as a video and/or GIF (animated image), it can be uploaded to Instagram, emailed or sent in text messages.

Inspired by photo booths, the app aims to be useful on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.

It’s easy to use and a fun, new way to share memories.

Sorry, Android users, the creators are still working on a version suitable for your phones.
