REQUEST FOR BIDS - TRACK DRIVEN HYDRAULIC
The Grand Forks County Water Resource District (GFCWRD) is hereby requesting sealed bids for a new track driven hydraulic excavator having a minimum operating weight of 68,000 pounds. Detailed specifications and bidder's instructions are available at the office of the GFCWRD located at 151 South 4th Street, Suite 348, Grand Forks, North Dakota or by calling 701-772-7058 and requesting that the bid documents be e-mailed out. Bids must be submitted using the bid form provided by the GFCWRD that is included in the specification and bidder's instruction documents. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of North Dakota as a guaranty that the bidder will enter into a contract if it is awarded to him, and he will furnish the necessary bond. Bids must be in a sealed envelope with a separate envelope for the bidder's bond, both addressed to the Grand Forks County Water Resource District and marked on the outside that the bid is for Hydraulic Excavator. Faxed bids are not acceptable. Due to Covid-19 concerns, bids will be received at the office of Pribula Engineering, PLLC located at 208 3rd Avenue NW, East Grand Forks, Minnesota 56721 until 2:00 o'clock p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened. The bids will be considered by the Grand Forks County Water Resource District Board at a regularly scheduled board meeting of GFCWRD on February 17, 2021. The GFCWRD Board reserves the right to choose the bid option that is most beneficial to the GFCWRD and the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and waive any technicalities.
