The Grand Forks School Board met in special session on Monday, June 28, 2021, with Vice President Eric Lunn presiding.
Board Members Present: Doug Carpenter, Chris Douthit, Jacqueline Hassett, Eric Lunn, Jeff Manley, Shannon Mikula, and Bill Palmiscno. Absent: Amber Flynn and Cynthia Shabb.
Student Board Members Present: None. Absent: Alicia De La Cruz and Evan Whalen.
Others Present: Dr. Terry Brenner, Superintendent of Schools; Scott J. Berge, Business Manager; Catherine Gillach, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education; Brady Olson, Grand Forks Education Association Vice President; and Cindy Johnson, Executive Secretary.
Call to Order: 6:00 p.m.
Motion and second to approve the Business Manager's Election Certificate and order placed on file as written carried unanimously. Absent: Flynn and Shabb.
Motion and second to approve the Business Manager's Certificate as to Posting of Notice of Election and Sample Ballot as written carried unanimously. Absent: Flynn and Shabb.
Motion and second to approve the Resolution Canvassing Returns on Questions Submitted at Special Election as corrected carried unanimously. Absent: Flynn and Shabb.
Motion and second to approve the application for ESSER II funds as written carried unanimously. Absent: Flynn and Shabb.
