NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR REQUESTS FOR VARIANCE APPEALS FROM THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF GRAND FORKS, NORTH DAKOTA Notice is hereby given that the City of Grand Forks Board of Adjustments will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 10:30 AM in Room A102 of City Hall, on the appeals below. Any member of the public seeking to submit comments relating to an Agenda item or public hearing should submit their comments to Bev Collings at bcollings@grandforksgov.com or call 701-746-2639 for further information. All comments received prior to 3:00 p.m. on the day previous to the meeting day will be considered part of the record of the meeting as if personally presented. Roberton Construction on behalf of Jameson Lunski and Tricia Halvorson, 628 Reeves Dr., has made a request for variances to the impervious surface area coverage and accessory building requirements [Section18-0209(7) and 18-0305 of the Land Development Code] in order to construct a detached garage. Legal Description: Lot 14, Block 1, Auditor’s Subdivision #2. Scott and Mary Ann Lindgren, 218 Seward Ave., has made a request for variance to the impervious surface area coverage requirement [Section18-0209(7) of the Land Development Code] in order to construct a rear addition on the home. Legal Description: Lots 7 & 8, Block 7, Riverside Park Addition. Jesse Haabak, 3986 Diamond Dr., has made a request for variance to the impervious surface area coverage requirement [Section18-0208(7) of the Land Development Code] in order to construct a detached accessory building. Legal Description: Lot 5, Block 2, Columbia Park 33rd Addition. Larry Johnson, 714 So. 19th St., has made a request for variances to the impervious surface area coverage and side yard setback requirement [Section18-0209(7) & (9) of the Land Development Code] in order to redevelop the property as a single-family home. Legal Description: Lots 505 & 506, Block T, Wilmar Addition.
