FOR RENEWAL AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN, TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Grand Forks, North Dakota, will meet at 5:30 p.m. on August 16, 2021, in the council chambers in City Hall in the City of Grand Forks, North Dakota, located at 255 North 4th Street, Grand Forks, ND 58203, to consider a renewal and development plan, creation of a tax increment financing district and tax increment financing development agreement, all pursuant to N.D.C.C. ch. 40-58, of EPIC HOLDINGS II, LLC, a North Dakota limited liability company whose address is 400 10th Street SE, Minot, North Dakota 58701, BEACON LANDHOLDINGS, LLC, a North Dakota limited liability company whose address is 400 10th Street SE, Minot, North Dakota 58701, EPIC MANAGEMENT, LLC, a North Dakota limited liability company whose address is 400 10th Street SE, Minot, North Dakota 58701 NORTHERN PACIFIC, LLC, whose address is 615 1st Avenue N, Suite A, P.O. Box 14010, Grand Forks, North Dakota 58208-4010 and HEARTLAND EXCHANGE, LLC, whose address is 501 7th Street S, Fargo, North Dakota 58103.
The development or renewal covered by the renewal and development plan, tax increment financing district and tax increment financing development agreement is: LOT TWO (2), IN BLOCK TWO (2), RENEWAL RESUBDIVISON NO. 5 TO THE CITY OF GRAND FORKS, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER WITHIN AND FOR GRAND FORKS COUNTY, N.D. AND RECORDED IN BOOK "152" OF DEEDS, PAGE 253 (said parcel is commonly referred to as 701 1st Avenue North, Grand Forks, North Dakota 58203).
The general scope of the renewal and development plan, creation of a tax increment financing district and tax increment financing development agreement that is under consideration is a mixed Use development including retail, commercial office space, housing, a public square, and parking areas.
Any competitor may appear and be heard by the City Council at the time and place designated herein. A competitor may provide written comments to the governing body before the scheduled hearing.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of North Dakota Century Code Sections 40-58-06, 40-58-20.1 and 40-58-20.2.
