NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN AIR POLLUTION CONTROL TITLE V PERMIT TO OPERATE Take notice that the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ) proposes to issue a revised Air Pollution Control Permit to Operate to the University of North Dakota (UND) for operation of the UND heating plant in accordance with the ND Air Pollution Control Rules.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN AIR POLLUTION CONTROL
TITLE V PERMIT TO OPERATE
Take notice that the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ) proposes to issue a revised Air Pollution Control Permit to Operate to the University of North Dakota (UND) for operation of the UND heating plant in accordance with the ND Air Pollution Control Rules. The heating plant is located at 3971 Campus Road, Grand Forks in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. The Title V permit addresses boilers for campus space heating and emergency electrical generators. The UND mailing address is 3971 Campus Road, P.O. Box 9032, Grand Forks, ND 58202-9032. The draft renewal permit incorporates ACP-17883 v1.0.
A thirty-day public comment period for the draft permit will begin July 15, 2021 and end August 13, 2021. Direct comments in writing to the NDDEQ, Division of Air Quality, 918 E Divide Avenue, Bismarck, ND 58501-1947 or email AirQuality@nd.gov, Re: Public Comment Permit Number AOP-28363 v5.1. Please note that, to be considered, comments submitted by email must be sent to the email address listed; comments sent to any other email address will not be considered. Comments must be received by 11:59 p.m. central time on the last day of the public comment period to be considered in the final permit determination. A public hearing regarding issuance of the permit will be held if a significant degree of public interest exists as determined by the NDDEQ. Requests for a public hearing must be received in writing by the NDDEQ before the end of the public comment period.
