CONSTRUCTION BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of the Grand Forks Public Schools South Middle School EIFS Replacement Project No. 20351, will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the Mark Sanford Education Center, 2400 47th Avenue South, Grand Forks, North Dakota 58201, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. This project shall consist of providing sheet good weather barrier, metal furring and new single profile metal panel over existing damaged EIFS cladding as indicated in the contract documents at South Middle School in Grand Forks, North Dakota. A mandatory prebid walkthrough will be conducted Monday March 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM at South Middle School, 1999 47th Ave S, Grand Forks, ND 58201. All bidders must attend for their bid to be considered.
Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing an acceptable bidder's bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, will execute a contract in accordance with the term of the bid and a contractor's bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the Grand Forks School Board.

Each bid shall contain a copy of the license or certificate of renewal thereof issued by the secretary of state enclosed in the required bid bond envelope. Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and license.
The Grand Forks School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and/or to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interest of the Grand Forks School Board. The work, if awarded shall be substantially complete by August 6th, 2021.
