There’s seating inside and outside for guests who enjoy meals on the edge of the Eagles Crest golf course.

Eagles Crest offers a chance to visit the golf course and enjoy mid-day lunch as well as dinners. And it has become a popular place for Sunday dinners enjoyed by family groups. It is open year round. There are groups of friends who enjoy getting together at the golf course – whether or not they play golf.

There are food specials that move out quickly including Italian Lavosh, Reuben sandwich on marble rye with fries. There’s a chef salad. And a Quinoa Power Bowl which attracts some of the summer crew. It’s a mixture of sautéed peppers, onions, mushrooms, brown and red rice, kale, red quinoa, black barley all finished with a teriyaki glaze and baby greens. Some add chicken, shrimp or tenderloin tips.

A friendly ambience prevails around the large dining room and the outside service area. People tend to gather and linger to visit.

There is a long list of sandwiches, wraps and tacos – along with burgers. The menu features shrimp, walleye, chicken and a Korean beef taco. There are full scale dinners ranging in price from $17.99 for grilled chicken breast to $22.99 for ribeye steak.

There are pasta dinners. Desserts include a chocolate fudge lava cake as well as homemade mud pie.

Eagles Crest Grill has been operating adjacent to the golf course since 2002. It is open every day. In recent years, the restaurant at Eagles Crest has been operated by Jeff Waind at the chef. He learned the trade by working in restaurants with his father, Paul, a long time restaurant operator in Grand Forks, now retired.

Along with golfers and guests, Eagles Crest is also host to groups in its dining room. The Sertoma Club is among the regular weekly guests.
