NORTH DAKOTA HIGHWAY PATROL

The crash occurred around 4:50 p.m. on North Dakota Highway 15 at intersection with North Dakota Highway 18, approximately 2 miles west of Northwood.
The Highway Patrol said the car was struck early Sunday morning, April 24, as the trooper was manning road closure gates.
Authorities said Peyton Young, of Benson, Minn., died after a head-on collision in Fargo that happened Friday, April 22.
