A production of the UMC Music and Theater Department, this musical follows the lives and friendship of three “aggressively vivacious” cheerleaders starting in high school in 1963, continuing through college as sorority sisters in 1968 and ending when their friendship dissolves in 1974 as their interests and lives diverge and their relationship becomes strained and ambiguous, according to a UMC news release.
Student actors are Jessica Willits, of Crookston, Minn.; Bailey Bradford, of Mentor, Minn; and Janessa Millar, of Blaine, Minn.
Due to its adult themes, the play is not recommended for children.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and free for UMC students.
Parking is free and recommended in Lot G.
