The Alerus Center will host a special musical event, “Miracle on 42nd Street,” on Dec. 4, that is billed as a “safe and fun way” for family and friends to gather and celebrate the holidays, according to Anna Rosburg, the center’s general manager.
The event will feature entertainment by Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos, “a dynamic pair” of pianists from St. Cloud, Minn., according to an Alerus news release.
The pianists are Ted Manderfeld and Dave Charles Eichholz, who are singers, musicians, entertainers and comedians.
The show, sponsored by Barefoot Wines, is suitable for all ages, but the Alerus Center is limiting attendance to individuals who are 18 and older.
The event includes a four-course meal, with wine pairings provided by Barefoot Wines.
On Dec. 4, Alerus doors open at 6 p.m.; meals will be served at 7 p.m.; and entertainment begins at 8 p.m.
Guests will have a choice of entree, either a pan-seared chicken entree with house-made smoked gouda bechamel sauce or vegetarian shawarma stuffed pepper. All meals also include appetizer, salad, side dishes and dessert.
“We are very excited to bring this event to our community,” Rosburg said. “Our staff created this event to allow our community members to enjoy this holiday season in a safe and fun way.”
Tickets for the show will be sold by table. Ticket prices start at $375 for a table of six, and $140 for a pair of tickets. Pairs will be seated at tables of six.
