The Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra is presenting a concert, featuring Czech music, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the Masonic Center, 423 Bruce Ave.
Under the direction of Alejandro Drago, the concert will feature a symphony member, cellist Simona Barbu, performing Dvorak’s beautiful and stirring cell concerto, said Tamara Bertram, the symphony’s executive director.
As a soloist, Barbu will perform the “Cello Concerto in B minor,” by Anton Dvorak.
The program also features three symphonic dances from the opera, “The Bartered Bride” and “The Moldau” from “My Country,” by Bedrich Smetana.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, ages 65 and older, $15 for students and military and $5 for children, ages 15 and younger.
