Known for his genre-bending, East Coast-meets-West Coast sound, Bryce Vine, who recently made his major label debut with Carnival, released on Sire Records, will be performing at the Alerus Center on May 1.

With musical influences that run the gamut of pop culture, his laid-back, hip-hop lyrics reference his favorite sci-fi TV shows, ‘90s nostalgia and commentary on growing up in Los Angeles.

Vine has performed on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," "Wendy Williams," "The Kelly Clarkson Show," "The Late Late Show with James Cordon" and "Live with Kelly and Ryan."

The event is presented by Spectra, the firm that provides management services at the Alerus Center and UND Student Government.

General admission tickets, on sale now, are $25.
