Two free concerts will be presented next week at Popplers Music Store, 1726 S. Washington St. , as part of the 63rd annual conference of the North Dakota Music Teachers Association.

At 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dianna Anderson, pianist, and Erik Anderson, cellist, will perform a program of piano-cello duo music. They are music faculty members at Minot State University. The winners of the Popplers Music Competition also will perform.

At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Matthew Lorenz and Matthew Sebald, recent graduates of UND’s piano performance program, will perform in concert. Both studied with Nariaki Sugiura, a member of the UND music faculty.

The Greater Grand Forks Music Teachers Association is hosting the conference, along with UND and Popplers Music Store.
