Shirley Greves, a former faculty member in the UND College of Education, will be signing her latest book from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Ferguson Books and More in the Grand Cities Mall.

“Penny For Your Thoughts” is a sequel to her award-winning debut fiction novel, “Love on the Misty Isles.”

Greves, who writes under the pen name, Rosemary Vaughn, draws from her Canadian roots in writing her books, both of which are set in Canada.

Her latest book, set in the Queen Charlotte Islands off the country's northwest coast, tells of three intertwining love stories that cross cultures, generations and borders, she said.

Greves, who immigrated with her family to Devils Lake in the mid-1970s, said one of her goals in writing the sequel was to inform readers about the similarities and differences of everyday life in both countries.
