Reigning Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year, and 10-time Grammy Awards nominee Eric Church, will come to the Alerus Center on Oct. 1.

Church will kick off a fall tour beginning on Sept. 17, in Lexington, Ky. Dubbed “The Gather Again Tour,” Church will visit 55 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, before culminating at Madison Square Garden in the spring of 2022.

Tickets to all U.S. dates go on sale to the general public Friday, May 7, at 10 a.m. local time at Fan club, or “Church Choir” members may access tickets early via pre-sale on Tuesday, May 4, at 10 a.m.

The concerts will feature an in-the-round set up, with the stage at the center of each arena floor, in order to accommodate as many fans as possible.

Church will appear in an upcoming public service announcement promoting vaccine education, produced by ACM Lifting Lives, The Ad Council and COVID Collaborative. The PSA will premiere during the ACM Awards broadcast on Sunday, April 18, where Church will also perform a song off his forthcoming album.

“It became very clear to me that the only way to really get back to normal is through vaccinations,” Church told Billboard earlier this month. “You’ve got to get needles in arms.”

According to a press release, Church has spent the past year releasing new music at a rapid pace, while staying in a rural North Carolina cabin. During that time he spent nearly a month writing and recording a song per day.
