For anyone who can't attend Saturday's audition, a second audition is planned for 1 to 3 p.m. March 2.

Those seeking parts in the play should come prepared with 16 bars of a vocal solo. An accompanist is provided. Also, dress comfortably for a brief movement exercise, said David Paukert, theater manager.

With more than 20 classic doo-wop songs of the '50s and early '60s, "Life Could Be A Dream" is a hilarious stroll down memory lane, Paukert said. "It won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Best Musical Award."

Evening rehearsals will be held in Grand Forks beginning after Memorial Day.

On stage at Frost Fire Summer Theatre in rural Walhalla, N.D., the production opens June 29, with performances continuing Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays through July 31.

Popplers Music is in the Grand Cities Mall, 1720 S. Washington St.
