Wilen-Sylskar
Robert Sylskar and Nicole Wilen, Mayville ND announce their engagement.
Parents are Rose Wilson, Hoffman, MN & the late Willard Sylskar, Vernon & Linda Wilen, Lehr, ND.
Robert graduated in 1982 from Tri-County High School in Karlstad, MN. Robert earned his B.S. in English/Speech/Theatre from Moorhead State University & his Master of Arts is Communication Studies & Theatre from South Dakota State University. He is an Associate Professor of Communications of Theatre at Mayville State University, where he has been teaching, directing plays & coaching speech for over 20 years.
Nicole graduated from Lehr High School in Lehr, ND in 1988. Nicole earned her B.S. in Elementary Education and Early childhood Education from University of Mary, Bismarck, ND in 1992. From 1994-2005 she worked for Mayville State University Child Development Programs. In 2006 she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree from Northland Technical College, East Grand Forks, MN. In 2012 she earned her A.D.N degree from Lake Region State College, Devils Lake, ND becoming a Registered Nurse. She has worked for Luther Memorial Home, Mayville, ND since 2008.
