Laurie Dirks, East Grand Forks, MN, and Don Rudnick, Glyndon, MN, announce their engagement.
Parents are Darline and the late Robert Dirks, Crookston, MN, and Ethel Rudnick, Grand Rapids, MN.
Laurie has a BSBA degree in marketing from the University of North Dakota. She has had a 30 year career in retail management including 25 years at the Ben Franklin Store in Crookston, which was family owned and operated from 1970 to 2005. Most recently she managed Party City in Grand Forks, ND, for two years.
Don owns and has successfully operated Heaven's Best Carpet Cleaning Company, which offers a unique low moisture cleaning system allowing carpets to dry in one hour, in the Fargo/Moorhead area since 2003.
