Lauren Berg and Nick Mertens, Moorhead, announce their engagement.
Parents are Rusty and Anna Mertens, East Grand Forks; and Cheryl Berg, Moorhead and Robert Berg, Fargo.
Lauren graduated in 2007 from Fargo South High School and in 2011 from University of North Dakota with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in the Critical Care Unit at Essentia Health, Fargo.
Nick graduated in 2005 from East Grand Forks High School and in 2010 from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in Management and Marketing. He is a Marketing Representative for Federated Insurance, Moorhead.
An August 10th wedding is planned at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Hilton Garden Inn, both in Fargo.
