Tonia Jones and Matthew Peterson are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The parents of the couple are Ray and Debby Jones (Bismarck, ND), Greg and Mary Peterson (Hayfield, MN), and Dawn and Loren Matejka (Trimont, MN).
Tonia grew up in Thompson, ND, and attended the University of North Dakota while playing basketball for the Fighting Sioux. She graduated in 2001 with degrees in Physical Education and Community Health. She received her Master's degree in Higher and Post Secondary Education from Arizona State University in 2007 and is currently employed as a Program Manager in Multicultural Student Services at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
Matt grew up in Hayfield, MN, and attended South Dakota State University while playing football for the Jacks. He graduated in 2003 with his Doctorate of Pharmacy. He is currently employed as a Pharmacist at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, MN.
Tonia and Matt will be married on October 25th, 2009 on the beach at the Moon Palace Resort and Spa in Mexico.
