Lindsay Merchant and Patrick Erickson, Fargo, announce their engagement.
Parents are Mary and Charles Merchant, Menahga, Minn.; and Nancy and Russell Erickson, Grand Forks.
Lindsay graduated in 2003 from Shanley High School, Fargo. She graduated in 2006 from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and is currently attending NDSU, where she is pursuing a doctorate in mathematics.
Patrick graduated in 2002 from Grafton (N.D.) High School and in 2007 graduated from NSDU with a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics. He is a credit analyst at Bremer Financial, Fargo.
A Sept. 25 wedding is planned at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Doublewood Inn, both in Fargo.
