Shirek-Konickson
Alyssa Shirek and Paul Konickson announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Alyssa is the daughter of Kristi Gjesdal, Grand Forks, and Ken Shirek, Michigan, N.D. Paul is the son of Roger and Arlys Konickson, Plummer, Minn.
Alyssa graduated from Lakota (N.D.) High School and the University of North Dakota. She works in marketing and communications at the UND Alumni Association & Foundation in Grand Forks.
Paul is a graduate of Plummer High School and the University of North Dakota. He is a civil engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation in Thief River Falls.
They will be married June 15, 2013 in Grand Forks, and will make their home in East Grand Forks.
