A UND football player and two other men from his hometown of Mandan, N.D., will be riding their bikes to Florida to raise money for cancer research and related causes, according to the Bismarck Cancer Center.
Devin Coyle, a defensive back, will be joined by Joe Berger, a track and field athlete with the University of Mary in Bismarck, and Brock Schauer.
Their Bike2Believe project will take them on a 2,500 mile ride from Bismarck, through Fargo, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and St. Petersburg, Fla., among other places. They aim to raise $500,000 and visit at cancer-care facilities along the way. They’ve raised $45,000 so far.
