Scope: Selective demolition, cast-in-place concrete, precast architectural concrete, unit & cast stone masonry, structural & misc. steel supply, structural & misc. steel install, rough carpentry, architectural wood casework supply, architectural wood casework install, thermal insulation, weather barriers, metal roof & wall panels, elastomeric membrane roofing, firestopping & joint sealants, door, frame & hardware supply, door, frame & hardware install, access doors, coiling doors, aluminum storefronts & curtain wall glazing, cold-formed metal framing & gypsum board assemblies, tiling, acoustical ceiling tile, wood athletic flooring, resilient flooring, tile carpeting, sound-absorbing wall & ceiling panels, painting, signage, toilet compartments, toilet accessories, fire protection specialties, lockers, gymnasium equipment, telescoping bleachers, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, bituminous paving, exterior concrete paving, landscaping & seeding and utilities.
The work will be accomplished through a contract with Thompson Schools District 61 with Comstock Construction, Inc. acting as the Construction Manager.
BID TIME/LOCATION: Bids will be received at Thompson Schools, 424 3rd Street, Thompson, ND 58278 until TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND, 2021 at 2:00 PM (CST). Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Thompson Schools Library. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted. All bids received after 2:00 pm will be returned unopened to the submitter.
EXAMINATION OF DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents for this construction work may be examined at Fargo-Moorhead Builders Exchange, Grand Forks Builders & Traders Exchange, Minnesota Builders Exchange or at the office of the Construction Manager: Comstock Construction, Inc., 280 South 11th St. Wahpeton, North Dakota 58075, (701) 642-3207.
BID DOCUMENTS: Plans and specs are available by contacting Terry M. Lider, Comstock Construction, Inc. at (218) 739-5365 or email tlider@comstockconst.com. The plan set is available electronically at no cost. Contract documents are available to contractors.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE: There will not be a scheduled pre-bid conference. Contractors wishing to inspect the site prior to bid may contact Jason Flack at (701) 642-3207 to arrange a tour.
BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a corporate surety bound in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid, as bid security and contractor license. If the bid amount is less than $10,000.00, a cashier's check equal to 5% of the base bid is acceptable.
Thompson Schools District 61 reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received and to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding.
Bids may not be withdrawn or modified within thirty (30) days after the closing time and date.
