The HollyDazzle Festival of Lights lit up downtown Greater Grand Forks Sunday afternoon and evening, Nov. 21, kicking off the 2021 holiday season.
The event began at 2 p.m. and included all sorts of holiday activities, ranging from an appearance by Santa, to carriage rides to s'more roasting. It culminated after sundown with a parade down DeMers Avenue and fireworks.
Hundreds of spectators lined the streets for the parade, which started at 5:30 p.m. and crossed the Sorlie Bridge into East Grand Forks.
