The Grand Forks Senior Center is hosting a Drive-Thru Christmas Feast from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Alerus Center. Each person must have a ticket.

Reservations are due Friday, Dec. 3, but those who are interested may call the center after that date to see if any tickets are still available. For reservations, call 701-772-7245.

The center’s staff members need the full name and birthdate of each person who would like a meal. The meal is only for people 60 years of age and older and their spouses of any age. Tickets will be mailed out or may be picked up at the senior center, 620 Fourth Ave. S.

At the drive-thru, friends or family members may pick up meals for others, but must have their tickets. Enter the south side of the Alerus Center parking lot from 42nd Street. Watch for signs and people who will be directing traffic. Drive up to the building, hand the ticket or tickets to the drive-thru attendant, and receive meals through the vehicle’s back window.

The senior center is offering the drive-thru option, rather than a sit-down in-person meal, as it also did last year, because of the pandemic.

The suggested dinner contribution of $5 per meal. A contribution envelope will be provided with the ticket. If you would like to make a contribution, put cash or check in the envelope and hand that, along with the ticket, to the drive-thru attendant.

For more information call the senior center at 701-772-7245 or visit .
