GRAND FORKS — The blizzard won't be stopping Happy Harry's Pork and Brew 2020 on Saturday, Jan. 18, an official with the Alerus Center said.
Vendors set up for the event Friday. Ten different restaurants will offer bacon dishes, and this year, 160 beers are available — their widest selection ever.
Organizers said it won't just be bacon either. Some vendors will offer other types of pork.
Derek Hoffert, Director of Partnerships at Alerus Center, said the snow and wind won't be stopping anyone from getting their hands on bacon or a good brew.
"Rain, snow, sleet, shine, whatever. Blizzard or no blizzard the event will go on. Our parking lots will be clear. The building will be warm. We'll be ready for you," he said.
Some general admission tickets are available but organizers expect to sell out Saturday.
Doors at the Alerus Center open for general admission at 5 p.m. Saturday. The event begins at 3:30 p.m. for those with VIP tickets.
