The Big One Art & Craft Fair, with more than 175 booths filled with handmade products expected, runs Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19, at the Crookston Sports Center, 801 Fisher Ave.
Vendors travel from across the state and the Upper Midwest, including Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, as well as Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Texas, to take part in this show, said Lisa Frank, event organizer.
The event, in its third year, features more than 100 crafters, artists and bakers who will showcase their handcrafted products.
“There’s everything from A to Z,” Frank said. “You’ll find something for the house, yard, family and even your pets.
“There will be some really fun and creative yard and home metal art,” Frank said, noting that a dog, Newman, puts purchased dog collars and leashes in the bags for customers.
“(Newman) and his human, Kaydi, have been at some of our shows for the past five years," she said.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $3.
