The Grand Forks Police Department is searching for endangered missing person Fernando Balboa, 55, who was last seen on July 6.
Balboa needs to take medication every four hours, according to a release by the Police Department. If Balboa does not take the medication, he may experience serious medical complications.
Balboa was last seen outside his residence near the 800 block of South 10th Street wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a blue and white short-sleeved shirt. He has brown hair and eyes and is about 5 feet, 7 inches and 250 pounds.
The Police Department has not found Balboa or received any information on his whereabouts since his disappearance. He may have sought shelter due to frequent rain and thunderstorms, according to the Police Department's news release. They request that residents check their property and pay particular attention to areas of shelter, including sheds, garages, gazebos, RVs and parked vehicles.
They encourage anyone with information to contact the Police Department by submitting a tip via the department’s Facebook page or website, the Tip411 app or by calling 701-787-8007.
