The Great Plains Mobile Food Pantry will deliver fresh vegetables, bakery items and boxed goods to three northeast North Dakota towns on Thursday, Nov. 7.

FARGO — There's a cornfield right in the heart of Fargo. Maybe you've noticed it east of Interstate 29, just north of Main Avenue. Employees of Case New Holland planted it to help feed the hungry. A group called "GleaND" is picking it for the Great Plains Food Bank in Fargo, which will distribute it to hungry people around the region.
BISMARCK — North Dakota and Minnesota would see some of the largest percentage decreases in households receiving food stamp benefits under a proposed federal rule tightening eligibility requirements, according to a study released Thursday, Sept. 5.
Choice Bank has donated a large amount of money and food to the Great Plains Food Bank, a donation that will provide more than 300,000 meals to those in need across North Dakota and Minnesota.
