Unity Medical Center in Grafton received the 2019 Wipfli Financial Improvement Award.
The Unity Medical Center will get a $1,000 donation along with the award from Wipfli, an auditing and accounting firm that works with about 350 hospitals across the United States.
This award is given to a hospital that has improved its financial standing and sustained that improvement for at least three years.
“I am very proud of each and every employee at UMC,” said Unity Medical Center’s CEO Alan O’Neil. “This award is a very deserved acknowledgement of their hard work, not only in providing great patient care, but also tending to the business affairs of the organization.”
Unity Medical Center will receive its award in Minneapolis in October at Wipfli’s Critical Access Hospital Conference.
