Uniquely Yours crafts, antiques and jewelry is closing, said owner Kathy Duval.
After 20 years, she said she needs to take a break from her store in downtown Hillsboro, N.D.
“People just aren’t coming in like they used to; it’s all online now,” Duval said. “And I could get online and sell my stuff, but I don’t want to spend all that time on the computer.”
She is selling the building on Main Street and the apartment above it.
Another reason she thinks foot-traffic in the store is not as heavy as in years past is that young people aren’t decorating like they used to.

“There’s not a lot of seasonal decorations, it’s all minimalist,” Duval said.
Duval also works two days a week driving the ambulance and manages the city’s swimming pool in the summer. “I’m getting older and I would like to get down to one job,” Duval said.
