AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.) has promoted Russ Sorenson, PE to the position of Regional Manager for the Western Dakotas. He will oversee the operations of AE2S' Bismarck, Minot, Dickinson, Watford City, and Williston, North Dakota, offices.
Sorenson will work with each office's Operations Manager to oversee staffing, workload, business development, strategic planning, and client advocacy. He will also help coordinate project execution and the delivery of professional services throughout the region.
"This is truly an exciting time for AE2S," says Brett Jochim, PE, AE2S Chief Operating Officer. "We are very confident in Russ's proven abilities to be successful in this new position and play an instrumental role in the continued growth of AE2S."
Sorenson has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from North Dakota State University. At AE2S, he has provided detailed studies and reports, project designs, and construction phase engineering services for large water infrastructure projects.
"As a Beulah native, Russ is very much at home in western North Dakota," added Jochim. "Since joining AE2S, Russ has consistently excelled in every position he has held, first as Project Engineer, then as Project Manager, and as Client Manager and the Operations Manager at the Bismarck office. We are very pleased to now have Russ leading the efforts in western North Dakota."
