AE2S(Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.) has hired
Jaroslav Solc as a Project Engineer. Solc will be based out of the firm's corporate headquarters in Grand Forks. Some of his initial project assignments will be assisting with study, design, and construction related
efforts for the cities of Grand Forks, Drayton, and Williston.
Before joining AE2S, Solc worked as a Project Engineer for FS Engineering in East Grand Forks. He has experience planning, designing and inspecting various projects in Minnesota, including: wastewater pond
improvements for the cities of St. Hilaire and Shelly, sidewalk construction for the Safe Routes to School Program in Warroad and East Grand Forks, permit writing for the City of East Grand Forks, and the

development of a utility management report for the City of Warren.
Solc was born in the Czech Republic and is fluent in Czech. He moved to Grand Forks at the age of six, and has lived in Grand Forks ever since. He attended the University of North Dakota and earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2006.Currently, Solc lives in Grand Forks with his wife Tabitha, who is a nurse, and two sons, Brayden and
Easton. Outside of work, Jaroslav enjoys outdoor activities and loves sports, especially hockey.
